A University thinking beyond and into the future
The Faculty of law originates from the School of law of 1763. It has been integrated into the University of Fribourg, Switzerland, founded in 1889.
Committed to excellence in research and teaching, she takes pride in its truly international, multilingual and interdisciplinary spirit. Close personal contact between students and professors and a collaborative spirit are trademarks of a University and a Faculty that cares about people in all of its endeavours.
A Young and Vibrant City
Fribourg is a young city, where students make up one fourth of the population. Campus life provides students with a chance to meet people who share their interests and to build networks of friends and contacts that will accompany them throughout their social and professional lives.
