His message to the prospective students:

“Dear Students, The world has changed a lot over the last few years and economic relations have become much more internationalized and gone global. Businesses need to work in an international perspective and to be aware of the vast number of opportunities offered by internationalization. Lawyers are to a large extent concerned by this evolution and should know everything about the international legal framework within which businesses are operating. The increasing role of the World Trade Organisation and of International Investment Treaties, the developing of new free trade areas in different parts of the world, the international instruments on corporate governance are only a few examples of this ever evolving framework. Lawyers therefore need to be familiarized with this legal framework and to be able to assist businesses in their international activities. The Université Libre de Bruxelles is therefore proud to present to you its new Executive Master in International Business Law, developed and implemented through its strategic alliance G3 with the University of Montreal and the University of Geneva. Experts of these 3 leading institutions will provide you with a strong education in the field of international business law, providing not only the basics concerning the international legal frameworks, but sharing also their experience and insight on the various activities of international businesses (contract law, arbitration, intellectual property, securities etc.). We are confident that this new program will provide our students with the keys necessary to the international businesses of the 21st century and we hope to see you very soon among us.”

Pr. Vincent TOMKIEWICZ

His message to the prospective students:

“In a globalized and interdependent world, concepts of sovereignty and national public order have never been so highlighted. Any legal expert who wants to be a part of this huge system shall not only learn how to think the world of tomorrow, but also act to shape the future of our societies. These are the opportunities offered by our diploma: combine strengthening of fundamental legal knowledge with constant improvement of the skills and know-hows. This master degree formation is all the more relevant since it is dedicated to Public Law, at the precise cross-over between an International Law that is exponentially growing and national Legal systems that legislate to integrate these international norms.”
