
Guest Lecture : ASEAN Economic Community
On January 8th, 2016, the Guest Lecture Series, part of the International Master’s Degree programs in Law at RULE, will continue with a presentation by H.E. Dr. SOK Siphana, Founder and Managing Partner of Sok Siphana & Associates and Advisor to the Royal Government of the Kingdom of Cambodia. It will take place at 6 pm in room G1 (Ground floor, new building).
H.E. Dr. SOK Siphana:
Topic of his presentation: “The ASEAN Economic Community: Perspectives from Cambodian Businesses on the forthcoming Changes, Risks and Opportunities.”
H.E. Dr. Siphana’s talk will focus on what the ASEAN Economic Community will mean for businesses in Cambodia, especially for SME’s. He will outline some of the effects of the AEC for Cambodia and comment on the timelines for such changes to be implemented. He will also note how the AEC will contribute in an atmosphere of greater trade liberalization and the benefits and challenges that will emerge for countries within the AEC in the global trading context.
